The sun was shining when The Crofter let the coows out for a little fresh air.

The long walk to get the sheeps back in. There's still some out there on account of Gemmima not yet responding properly to 'away' and 'come by' - but she has plenty of time to learn. The little blighters [sheeps that is] hide down the cliff edge - goodness knows why as there is little enough to eat out there.

I think Mr Crofter is going out on Tolsta Head today - in between visits to the tooth factory, cups of tea and checking on the sheeps in The Big Shed.

Dad Crofter was in The Big Shed this morning - lovely a quiet ot was too just the contented sound of sheeps munching and a coow having a delightful poo.

For those of you Island Crofter groupies who make regular digital visits here, or just occasional ones or, have just stumbled across this blog with no idea what's it's all about may or may not know that Gemmima of the fiancée type is not here at the moment. Now there's work to be done tickling the little sheeps replicants and the like, Gemmima has swanned off down to the soft south - to return after all the mayhem has finished for the year. Mind you I did notice a week or two ago that Gemmima has been promoted to chief pig hutch cleaner as well as her other responsibilities of cooking cakes and painting everything pink. Eh? what's that all about then?

Meanwhile The Crofter sits with his feet up watching the footie, tickling the piggie, making a crust, feeding the animules and whinging. Not all at the same time.

Told you The Crofter has been happy. Still is really - especially since he can play with the little replicant sheeps in the Big Shed now. Although I think that might become a bit hard work soon. Them little beings are popping out all over the place!

Yes that flare in the top right hand corner of the snap is meant to be there! It denotes where the sun was coming through the open door of The Big Shed. A couple of mummy coows are living there at the moment - along with Doonray the coowlette, the quad and most of the sheeps. The sheeps inlclude little Piddle who arrived this morning but its mum has no milk for her. So, Gemmima was there as surrogate mum - with the bottle.

Gemmima is still here and obviously, The Crofter, bless his cotton-mix socks, is still smiling too. Especially now the Big Shed is now built and occupied with sheeps, a quad and straw stuff.

See how huge the Big Shed is - soon to be dwarfed by the impending huge windfarm in the village but impressive all the same. Unlike the Tardis though, it looks smaller inside.

This here sheeps from next door looks on with envy as I go to visit the little black sheeps/guineapig crosses of The Crofter that are residing in the barn at the mo.

Of course The Crofter is happy. Ms Gemmima is here again.

Yes, The Crofter has been busy. The big shed is all but finished and to celebrate that and the return of Ms Gemmima Crofter, the Croft will soon be offering merch [branded merchandise for the uninitiated].

Firstly there will be The Big Shed model - made from recycled dentures from the tooth factory.
Then the commemorative The Crofters china plate with a lovely image of The Crofter and his fiancée Gemmima hand painted by my goodself at great expense - once I have bought the plate from the coop - I already have the paint from doing up the boat.

But the piece of resistance or whatever one calls it will be the PoR residue capsule [old film cannister] branded with Croft2a and containing a little bit of the PoR that has already fallen off.
All proceeds will go to the Help your local Crofter from Yaarkshire Fund. Payments will be possible through Western Island Mail transfer.
Remember, this Merch will be strictly a limited edition so please express your interest below asap.
