Whoa! The big shed has actually arrived. Well, most of it has. The Brave Heroic Crofter went snuffling about in the bags accompanying it to make sure all the bits where there. It was raining. You didn't expect me to hang about to find out if it twas all there did you?

The bits were taken off the lorry that blocked our single track road by some monstrosity of a vehicle which looked more suited to Mad Murdo in some dystopian film than North Tolsta.

Look, the weather has been a bit oop and dahn these last few weeks. The snow has been and gorn - then come back again and another load is promised soon. If you think I'm gadding around the Croft down t'road for a few snaps whilst wading in near waist deep sh.../mud you have another think coming. Anyway, been trying to sort out the wee boatee and, The Crofter's lovely neighbour passed away the other day.

Still, I can report that Ruby and her co-habatee in the wee barn-ette  [whose name escapes me - you'll have to ask Gemma] are just fine. And the new big barn is soon to be up and running. Well, should be anyway.

A triptych of The Great Rescue by our hero, Him of the Committees, the toof factory, the Pimpmobile [now home but still not working - the Pimpmobile not The Crofter] etc.

I mean eat your heart out Weegee. Eh?
I know I wasn't there at the off - I was delivering teef for The Crofter. I wasn't using flash either or a big camera just the Olympus XA2 I had in my bag. I think caught the essence of The Event though.

Good thing is though - Ruby the ditched coow is ok now, all tucked up in the little barn and everything, The Crofter tending to her every need and, bringing the coow physician to give her a check too. How good is that?

Oh there she is. Mrs Pimpmobile. Resting down at the glen after she refused to wind up again after The Big Rescue. What? No news of TBR here then? Er no. It distressed me. I'm a sensitive soul you know. And it was dark when I got there after delivering teef for Him of the Committees as he tried to pull a big coow [Ruby] out of the mire in the bottom of a big muddy ditch / stream. The heroic Crofter got her out with a little bit of help from The Locals, Dad Crofter and Ms Brooker. Ruby is recovering well you will please to hear - and The Crofters feet are sure to thaw out soon!

The Pimpmobile may still be there. May.

"Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday dear David, Happy Birthday to me."

All of 70 something today Mr David is. He did tell what sort of 70 it was but I must not have been listening at the time. Still he was enjoying himself all the same. Celebrated with feeding the Guinea Pigs to the coows or something. Oh, and he had a lovely cake - THAT I DID NOT GET OFFERED! Hurrumph

Happy New year to our reader. Whoever you are. I know you are out there somewhere.

Look, Ms Gemma put on her best outfit to wish you all the very best for 2015 - even though it was raining and blowing a minor hooli. It looks like it's going to be a grand year!

The Crofter and pater Crofter were out tickling up the coows. Feeding them some succulent hay and dodging Eric's advances. He is a big boy you know [Eric that is].

Now they are all wishing you a wonderful 2015. How lovely is that!
