It's ok. I'm not going to bore you with endless snaps of the Great Event. Just thought you'd like to see The happy couple, The Crofter's parents.
That black bit in the top left was the moving of the boxing ring. I might tell you about that bit later - if I get some comments. Not sure what that big thing on the right is though. The world was shaking at this point so I missed the actuality of it all - apart from Dad Crofter's relieved smile.
I know, you have all been waiting for the snaps of the Great Day. Here I have the first in my special 'wedding style'. It's not everyone that gets this treatment so The Husband Crofter should thank his lucky stars I was there.
I think this is The Husband Crofter with the Good Wife Crofter. Probably is. I can't imagine I took snaps of many people at the occasion. I was enjoying myself, you don't expect me to take snaps and notice who it was as well do you?
As soon as I find out who this really is and I have looked at some other negs I shall let you know. Possibly.
Whatever, the Husband Crofter is now a married Man!
I'd found The Crofter wandering round in the long grassy stuff. Looked lost so I guided him back home for a cuppa, discussed the on-going tdf and the up-and coming 'event'. Maybe that was why he looked so very lost.
On the Isle of Lewis off the west coast of mainland Scotland lies a croft inhabited by an English off-comer. His Mum and Dad live nearby and help him run the croft. This is a photographic record of their lives as it unfolds.
