Oh please! The children were out in force this morning after the little dusting of snow. The Crofter playing at clearing the windscreen on Pimpmobile2 whilst simultaneously pelting his 2b with snowballs. Pity he wasn't so good with his aim as Ms 2b was with hers.
All was good at the end. I, your diarist got away without being hit and the children continued the day filling the Pimpmobile2 back with sacks of food from the back of Ms2b's car. The big tractor, still awaiting Ms2b's attention re; rebuild, looked on forlornly. Pimpmobile1 sadly sits rotting away while the quad and BabyTractor never even got a look in.
I know it's not my thing but I present to you The Crofter in wonderful AgfaColour. Eh?
Yes, don't worry, I don't have too much of the stuff so we'll be back to monochrome in no time.
Must have been a darkish day when I went down with this film loaded in the little Pentax Espio Mini but I managed to find Mrs2be about to say her piece to the Baby Tractor. No, I don't know why either.
Looks like it must have lightened up suddenly. It can't be the fault of the snapper can it? Surely not. There, that's The Crofter, Mr2be and all that. Still smiling too - at least he was at this point. Could have been wind I suppose. It has been a windy old winter after all. And wet. Did I tell you it rains here? Feeding up he was. The aminules.
There he is; let loose with the new Pimpmobile which he seems to filling with bags of snacks for the animules. and now there is a new animule to play with, a wee cowlette born Monday and all that. No idea of it's flavour as yet bit I'm sure to let you know. And yes, the sun has been shining wonderfully.
No idea what he, the crofter is doing to be honest - although it does involve a baby tractor, a roll of dry grass stuff and a barn.
I'm sure you can work the rest out for yourself.
I think Gemmima will let him back in the house soon!
On the Isle of Lewis off the west coast of mainland Scotland lies a croft inhabited by an English off-comer. His Mum and Dad live nearby and help him run the croft. This is a photographic record of their lives as it unfolds.
